Provide Advanced Resuscitation and Oxygen Therapy
Course Overview
Provide Advanced Resuscitation and Oxygen Therapy (HLTAID015) trains participants to administer supplemental oxygen and manage airways using advanced adjuncts, including oropharyngeal airways and bag-valve-mask ventilation. It suits first aid officers, paramedic students and workplace health professionals in high-risk industries.
AGA requires you to hold HLTAID011 Provide First Aid before you start, because the course builds on first aid and CPR skills. This is an AGA entry requirement, not a prerequisite set by the unit.
What You Will Learn

- Select and apply appropriate oxygen delivery devices
- Insert oropharyngeal airways and perform bag-valve-mask ventilation
