Traffic Controller Skill Set
Course Overview
The Traffic Controller Skill Set (RIISS00054) trains participants to control traffic safely at worksites and roadworks, using a stop-slow bat and portable traffic control devices. Training follows the Transport for NSW Traffic Control at Work Sites (TCAWS) Technical Manual.
In NSW, traffic controllers need a SafeWork NSW Traffic Control Work Training (TCWT) card. Training must be delivered by an RTO that SafeWork NSW has authorised to deliver TCWT, and SafeWork NSW issues a card only when the full skill set is completed. AGA issues your Statement of Attainment and SafeWork NSW issues your card.
