Certificate III in Security Operations
Course Overview
The Certificate III in Security Operations (CPP31318) is for licensed security officers who want to take on more responsibility: coordinating crowd control, managing conflict, responding to complex security incidents and preparing security documentation.
In NSW, SLED links CPP31318 to the licence courses for the Class 1D (Guard Dog Handler) and Class 1F (Armed Guard) subclasses. Whether this course counts towards a subclass depends on the elective units completed and on the subclasses AGA is approved by SLED to deliver, so confirm this with us before you enrol. Crowd control is part of the Class 1A Security Officer subclass, which comes from the Certificate II (CPP20218).
