BSB50620 - Diploma of Marketing and Communication

This course is suited to people who seek to use sound theoretical knowledge in their marketing and communication work and who seek to demonstrate a broad range of skills to ensure that marketing projects are effectively executed.
Graduates typically are responsible for their own work and the work of others.
This qualification is suited to people in full-time as well as part time marketing roles.
Entry to this course is limited to those who have already attained:
  • the BSB42415 Certificate IV in Marketing and Communication, or
  • the following units (or equivalent competencies)
    • BSBCMM411 Make presentations;
    • BSBCRT412 Articulate, present and debate ideas;
    • BSBMKG433 Undertake marketing activities;
    • BSBMKG435 Analyse consumer behaviour;
    • BSBMKG439 Develop and apply knowledge of communications industry; and
    • BSBWRT411 Write complex documents
(Equivalent competencies are predecessors to these units) or
  •    Have two years equivalent full-time relevant work experience
This twelve month/1200 hour minimum course is delivered in one of three ways, in your workplace in a flexible on the job format, in our classrooms in an formal institutional manner or, for eligible participants in an online/distance based program.
The course duration can be reduced for people with pre existing skills, knowledge and/or experience.
